You ever wonder when it is time to make a decision but you have no idea what to choose or pick, you go and ask your most trusted people and they decide for you but still you are feeling like it is not the right decision or the make you to choose wrong because they also do not know what to choose for you. You are still stuck at trying to make the right decision and sometimes it can just be some decisions like what should I do in the future, where to work, where to stay and so fourth. The reason we always struggle with this is because we were never taught about the person of the Holy Spirit, even if you are spirit filled and been a christian for a long time, without the Holy Spirit you cannot go far.
Our lives are created lacking and not sufficient for us to run it on our own. We are born in the fallen world and separated from our maker because of what our parents did in the garden. The Lord left that gap in us so that we can look for him, choose him and work with him to navigate life. People are born on earth and no one really teach them about the person of the Holy Spirit. People are giving their lives to the Lord, now born again and being told – “Now, go live a Holy Life” but no one even mentions the person of the Holy Spirit. We all know about the Father, the Most High, The Great I AM- the creator of the heavens and the earth, we know about the Lord Jesus but we know and understand so little about the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a 3rd person of the Godhead. When the council of heaven came together, they said Let us make man in our own image. Who came together? It was The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. He was present in the beginning.
When The Most High created the heavens and the earth in the beginning, the bible says in Genesis 1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
He says Let there be light and light appears, He speaks words- right and the work is carried by the Holy Spirit. We sing about him, we write about him, we read about him but we do not know him. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit was working with a few people like the prophets, kings, etc, he was either to assist them for a small period of time until the task is completed and he would leave or he lived in that certain prophet to carry out God’s work for example in people like Elijah, he was filled all the time but the Holy Spirit was not available or given to everyone, every person like what God did for us after Jesus’ ressurection.
Jesus Christ tells us what the Holy Spirit would come and do for us after he leaves. John 14 vs 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever. Jesus Christ says another, meaning The Holy Spirit is part of the Father and Jesus. Jesus was limited because of the body, he could not be in Africa, Europe, Asia at the same time in body and he says in John 16 vs 7 I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. After his resurrection, the Holy Spirit was given to us, in other words He is like Jesus Christ, now unlimited, unrestricted by the body and available to everyone anywhere in the world at the same time all the time. The Holy Spirit is available to everyone who chooses the Lord Jesus and the kingdom of heaven.
The Holy Spirit is personal and deals with everyone individually. He provides counselling, guidance, instructions, comfort, help and is very much like a person or an individual who has their own mind, will, emotions and can be grieved and insulted by our evil ways. He is alive and gives us the gifts of the Spirit and the most important is power. The bible says in Acts 1 vs 8“ You shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you” You can never make it in this life without the Holy Spirit leading you. We need to be working with him everyday. Now the Holy Spirit was given to us and dwells in the inside of you, in other words because he is part of the Godhead , so this is God dwelling inside of you. Imagine that and all along we thought we were alone here on earth. After we are born again, the Holy Spirit becomes available to you immediately after making that decision.
When we are born most of our parents clothe us, feed us, give us an education, a roof over our heads and never tell us about the person of the Holy Spirit to guide us. The most important thing is to get to a point where you can hear his voice and you know he is the one speaking, you know how to commune with him because he is from the presence of the Lord, he is part of the Godhead, he knows what is written in your book of life. In this life people do not know what they ought to do because of this missing piece and you find people in competition or just seeing what others are doing and copying and doing the same thing not realizing that we are all not the same, we have different purposes and destinies and all managed by the Holy Spirit. If you do not know what the Holy Spirit is saying to you right now about any human issues you have therefore you may not be in alignment with heaven right now.
It is ok to go to Pastors asking for counselling but i have seen some people who do not know what to do with their lives and chase prophets and prophecies. I used to do this until i became aware of the 3rd person of the Godhead. Imagine just asking the questions and directions and get your answers without going to people to hear God for you, or rather if you go it will just be for confirmation. I noticed that Jeremiah 29 vs 11 saying I alone know the plans I have for you … is exactly that. The Pastors and Prophets give you information but it is really less than 1% – the 99% is found in you working and making contact with the Lord directly through the person of the Holy Spirit. The Lord wants to have a relationship with each and everyone of us. The Holy Spirit is inside of us, He lives inside of us and we can contact him anytime. Our human spirit works with the Holy Spirit. We communicate with God spirit to spirit. Imagine what we do, for example you have a child in your house and the child leaves to go to the neighbour’s house to ask the neighbour for advice but leaving you in the house and also never talking to you about their problems. This is what we do to the Holy Spirit. He dwells inside of us the minute we give our lives to the Lord, he is available to help us but we ignore him, we chase after people to hear from God for us.
Would you take some time from today to speak to the Most High God and ask him to activate your sensor receptors or receptor cells so that you can hear directly from the him through the person of the Holy Spirit. It is the best secret that will work for you like never before. You will not be chasing after anyone to tell you what the Lord is saying to you. I encourage everyone to seek the Lord and ask for the Holy Spirit to be made alive to them, as long as you are saved and living a Holy Life, the Holy Spirit has been waiting to talk to you so that you can work together for the direction of your human and spiritual life. The Lord cares for us and whilst he is in heaven on his throne and the Lord Jesus at his right hand, he gave us part of himself, The Holy Spirit to dwell in each and every one of us. We struggle because we do not know this fact.

Dear God in heaven, we honor you and we glorify your Holy name. We thank you for giving us your Holy Spirit but some of us are not aware and no one has ever told us that once we have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour, the Holy Spirit becomes available to guide us on everything physical and spiritual for purpose and destiny in you. May you forgive us for not sharing this enough. May you open us up to hearing your Holy Spirit for the sake of your kingdom and for our daily human life guidance. May you activate us and make us aware that you are here with us, in the inside of us. Oh Father, we appreciate you and thank you always. Thank you for answering our prayer.
